The ASME Journal of Fluids Engineering (JFE) and the Division (FED) present a Special Issue papers that were presented at 2022 Summer Meeting (FEDSM). FED conference organizers Professor Philipp Epple (chair) Kamran Siddiqui (co-chair), whose efforts helped community assemble in first in-person meeting since pandemic. was successful due to hard work dedication chairs, technical committee symposia other volunteers. FEDSM held August 3–5, Intercontinental Toronto Center, Toronto, ON, Canada included three plenary speakers plus presentations 145 attendees.The is pleased include review paper by Efstathios (Stathis) Michaelides (Texas Christian University) Zhigang Feng (University Texas San Antonio) titled “Drag Coefficients Non-spherical Irregularly-Shaped Particles.” topics cardiovascular flow aorta, boundary layer response plasma actuators, thermally stratified turbulent flows, flapping foils, unsteady propulsion.The also presents winners Flow Visualization competition, organized Prof. Epple. competition an initiative begin 2017 expanded both still images videos. video category were:In closing, my sincerest gratitude extended JFE Associate Editors, Costanza Aricò, Arindam Banerjee, Luigi P.
